Smart People Stammer

I got a crappy sweet joke-of-the-day calendar for Christmas from CB last year and occasionally there is a real gem in there.

“Stammering is different than stuttering. Stutterers have trouble with the letters, while stammerers trip over entire parts of a sentence. We stammerers generally think of ourselves as very bright. My own private theory is that stammerers have so many ideas swirling around their brains at once that they can’t get them all out, though I haven’t found any scientific evidence to back that up.”

Yeah, I know, he is a comedian trying to be funny but that is exactly how I feel most of the time. My sentences come out all jumbled up because my brain is moving faster than my fat tongue can go.

Give stammerers a break, they are smarter than you are.

Why skinny people aren’t skinny at all

Growing up I often looked at things through a different lens than most people did. I liked to find things that were odd when taken at a high level and for their very literal interpretation. One of those things was the phrase “skinny.”

Now, let’s look at how the english (well, american english) language works. When something is in excess we at a “y” to it to emphasize the quantity.

When someone is really fun they are funny.

When somone has a lot of hair they are hairy.

When someone smells excessively they are smelly.

With this in mind I could only come to the conlcusion that someone that has a lot of skin is skinny therefore fat people, or tall people for that matter, are skinny.

Next time someone says you are skinny tell them to shove it.

Why I decided to blog

My mom, just like every other mom, used to say “If your friends jumped off a cliff would you?” to which my answer was always “YES” because I new it pissed her off. Some people might say that I am blogging because everyone else is blogging and to all of you my answer is “YES!” as well just to piss you off.

Now I’m hot here to piss everyone off, just want to have a place to put my thoughts, share some wisdom and hopefully gain some insight from other people as well. Now I know I’m not a genius but I like to think that I have some good thoughts or other points of view that might be taken as “interesting” and that’s what matters to me.

I randomly thing of things that I would like to share with others and what better forum than this! Here is a list of posts I plan on doing in the future:
